Eighth Annual Jacqueline Cochran Air Show
Attendees flocked to the eighth annual Jacqueline Cochran Air Show held on November 5, 2011. The F-16 fighter jet howled through the deserts' blue skies and the C-17 made a lasting impression to the Air Show attendees as they toured the 174 foot aircraft. Year after year the Jacqueline Cochran Air Show brings in thousands of people as it remains a FREE community event. The show, put on by the Riverside County Economic Development Agency, Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport Authority and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino awed the crowds yet again.
Performers this year included: Jon Melby, Rob Harrison, the T-28’s flying in perfect formation, Melissa Pemberton, Golden stars skydiving team spiraling overhead with smoke, banners and the American flag and the ever impressionable Heritage Flight with the F-16 and F-86 honoring our Country.
With over 50 food, merchandise and specialty booths, there was plenty to do, including a FREE kid zone. November 3, 2012 will mark the Ninth year for the Jacqueline Cochran Air Show, so save the date now and join us next year!
